ABOUT ME
Before I met Christ I was without hope in this world.
Yes I had a normal life. I was a good kid growing up, highly involved in sports and with my family etc. (I still really enjoy Mnt. Biking and Free Diving!) But I was missing something, and deep down I knew it. I just wasn't sure what it was...
Until I met some totally sold out, loving, and joyful Christ followers in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. I had met people from every walk of life, and religious persuasion. However, none made an impression on my heart like those in the small church in Friday Harbor. I couldn't shake it! And I had to find out what it was! Well, it turned out they had a strong relationship with Jesus! So I began a journey of discovery, to find out personally what Jesus really was all about!
I found out that He died for me personally, and I knew no one had ever come close to loving me like Jesus does! Committed followers of Jesus discipled me during my journey, and I became a Christ follower as a teenager. Later as an adult, I worked in construction and felt a call to ministry. God opened doors for me to became a pastor in 1994. Then God helped us plant a church in 1997 on Orcas Island. It was such a thrill to see lives transformed through the grace of Christ! I have carried out ministry in three different church districts (total of 6 churches) and was ordained in 2004. Currently, I am Global Evangelism and Church Planting Assistant for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. As the Lead Pastor of PATHWAYchurch my desire is to help others experience the joy of living with Christ and how to live a fulfilled life through His transforming love! I also enjoy Mnt. biking, free diving, camping, and playing in the surf.
